But when the aliens and mon\u00adster final\u00adly appear, there\u2019s lots of fun to be had. The shag car\u00adpet mon\u00adster knocks over tents, and fright\u00adens the rein\u00addeer, and does the least amount of dam\u00adage por\u00adtrayed in any cin\u00ade\u00admat\u00adic alien inva\u00adsion.&nbsp;Some of the cam\u00adera shots are sur\u00adpris\u00ading\u00adly good, as if Svend Nykvist took a day off from Bergman to work for Roger Cor\u00adman.
