Three songs, \u201cWalk\u00ading on a Dream\u201d, \u201cWe Are the Peo\u00adple\u201d and \u201cStand\u00ading on the Shore\u201d, have been chart hits in Anzac\/<span class=\"caps\">UK<\/span> ter\u00adri\u00adto\u00adry, but I don\u2019t think they\u2019ve had much impact here in Cana\u00adda. The biggest chart suc\u00adcess, \u201cWalk\u00ading on a Dream\u201d, was the track that least appealed to me. There\u2019s a retro-late-sev\u00aden\u00adties\/ear\u00adly-eight\u00adies feel, though the thick lay\u00ader\u00ading is more con\u00adtem\u00adpo\u00adrary. Def\u00adi\u00adnite\u00adly worth check\u00ading out, espe\u00adcial\u00adly if you have some ground\u00ading in eight\u00adies pop, Adam Ant, or Bowie, but not so much if you instinc\u00adtive\u00adly eschewed these for hard-core, punk, or met\u00adal dur\u00ading that tran\u00adsi\u00adtion\u00adal decade. Some of the orches\u00adtral pas\u00adsages, which drift away from the sev\u00aden\u00adties-eight\u00adies ambiance, are quite charm\u00ading. Yes, the band is named after the J. G. Bal\u00adlard nov\u00adel.
