He is too naive and unpre\u00adpared to con\u00adsum\u00admate the rela\u00adtion\u00adship, though every\u00adone who knows them assumes they have. The oth\u00ader boy is actu\u00adally pret\u00adty creepy, and leads him into com\u00admit\u00adting bur\u00adglar\u00adies. Because of one such bur\u00adglary, he finds him\u00adself in an emo\u00adtional tug-of-war with an old\u00ader man. The sto\u00adry is a melo\u00addrama, but it does not fol\u00adlow the expect\u00aded for\u00admu\u00adlas. Act\u00ading, pro\u00adduc\u00adtion val\u00adues, and direc\u00adtion are all first-rate.
