Eighty per\u00adcent of Amer\u00adi\u00adcans are enthu\u00adsi\u00adas\u00adtic sup\u00adport\u00aders of the death penal\u00adty, not because of any rea\u00adson\u00aded analy\u00adsis, but because they are igno\u00adrant sav\u00adages. They do it for the same rea\u00adson that Aztecs ripped the hearts out of sac\u00adri\u00adfi\u00adcial vic\u00adtims and the Tal\u00adiban exe\u00adcuted women in foot\u00adball fields. It is in that kind of social envi\u00adron\u00adment that the Con\u00adser\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive agen\u00adda of destroy\u00ading free\u00addom and civ\u00adi\u00adliza\u00adtion can run ram\u00adpant.
