But this lit\u00adtle town has a spe\u00adcial place in my heart, and I am delight\u00aded to give hos\u00adpi\u00adtal\u00adi\u00adty to any\u00adone who hails from&nbsp;there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">My guest is Jason Hunter, a musi\u00adcian and film-mak\u00ader.&nbsp;I\u2019ve had to work much of the time he was here, and he had his own affairs to attend to, but we did find time to explore near\u00adby Don Val\u00adley togeth\u00ader. The trip held a sur\u00adprise.&nbsp;I took Jason through sev\u00ader\u00adal wood\u00aded ravines, then to an aban\u00addoned brick pit, now flood\u00aded and filled with ponds, marsh\u00ades, ducks and tur\u00adtles,&nbsp;and a \u201csacred spot\u201d with a won\u00adder\u00adful view of the city.&nbsp;Near that, there is a large aban\u00addoned fac\u00adto\u00adry, in ruinous con\u00addi\u00adtion.&nbsp;It is board\u00aded up and pro\u00adtect\u00aded by chain-link fences, but that is noth\u00ading to enter\u00adpris\u00ading tres\u00adpassers.&nbsp;We were soon inside, walk\u00ading among the immense brick ovens, illu\u00admi\u00adnat\u00aded by shafts of light from the decay\u00ading and dam\u00adaged roof.&nbsp;But we were not alone.&nbsp;We heard the nois\u00ades of some oth\u00ader intrud\u00aders.&nbsp;So climbed up to the rust\u00ading cat\u00adwalks that criss-crossed the ovens.
