I have nev\u00ader encoun\u00adtered an ide\u00adol\u00ado\u00adgy that was not in its essence moral\u00adly cor\u00adrupt and evil. I have nev\u00ader known an ide\u00ado\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal intel\u00adlec\u00adtu\u00adal who was not a liar and a fraud. I have nev\u00ader met a mil\u00adi\u00adtarist or \u201csuper-patri\u00adot\u201d who was not a snivel\u00ading coward.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s the Koch Broth\u00aders, smarmy aca\u00add\u00ade\u00adm\u00adic Marx\u00adists, Dick Cheney, creeps in the Her\u00aditage Foun\u00adda\u00adtion, Maoists, Euro\u00adpean Neo-Nazis, Vladimir Putin, fun\u00adda\u00admen\u00adtal\u00adist \u201cChris\u00adtians\u201d, Tea Par\u00adty nitwits, Amer\u00adi\u00adcan Mili\u00adtia nut\u00adbars, reli\u00adgious fanat\u00adics of every breed, goofs run\u00adning around with Che Gue\u00advara t\u2011shirts, the war\u00adlord armies of G\u00e9d\u00e9on Kyun\u00adgu Mutan\u00adga and Joseph Kony, the pho\u00adny-baloney \u201cLib\u00ader\u00adtar\u00adi\u00adan\u201d move\u00adment, drug car\u00adtels mas\u00adquerad\u00ading as \u201clib\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion\u201d move\u00adments, lunatics like ISIS<\/span> or Boko Haram\u2026. or just the local cops in Fer\u00adgu\u00adson, Mis\u00adsouri\u2026. they are all the same<\/em>, all inter\u00adchange\u00adable. In study\u00ading the myr\u00adi\u00adad trib\u00adal rival\u00adries of these jack\u00adass\u00ades, it is easy to lose track of this fact. Ide\u00adolo\u00adgies are not \u201cideas\u201d or \u201cphiloso\u00adphies\u201d \u2014 they are just pack\u00adages of strate\u00adgic lies and swin\u00addling tech\u00adniques. The motives are always the same.<\/span><\/p>\n
