A very enjoy\u00adable dis\u00adcus\u00adsion about Roman\u00adian cul\u00adture and his\u00adto\u00adry, eco\u00adnom\u00adics, and oth\u00ader sub\u00adjects. When this fin\u00adished, I walked toward the hos\u00adtel, and dropped into a small cafe. But one thing led to anoth\u00ader, and I found myself drink\u00ading with a group of Roma\u00adni\u00adans. Some were actors, one who had played many seri\u00adous roles, such as the plays of Ioe\u00adnesco and Genet\u2019s Le Bal\u00adcon. The con\u00adver\u00adsa\u00adtion was a chaot\u00adic mix\u00adture of Roman\u00adian, French, Ital\u00adian, Mag\u00adyar, Russ\u00adian, Ger\u00adman, Turk\u00adish and Ara\u00adbic, all jum\u00adbled togeth\u00ader with a back\u00adground score of Roman\u00adian doina and clouds of cig\u00ada\u00adrette smoke. I was com\u00adplete\u00adly unpre\u00adpared for the style of drink\u00ading in such a con\u00adtext: full tum\u00adblers of whiskey fol\u00adlowed by glass\u00ades of sick\u00adly sweet Red Bull, alter\u00adnat\u00ading. I stum\u00adbled back to the hos\u00adtel, where Isaac and I shared a sin\u00adgle room. A few hours lat\u00ader, Isaac found me paw\u00ading con\u00adfus\u00aded\u00adly at the door han\u00addle, try\u00ading to get to the bath\u00adroom to throw up. The world was spin\u00adning around me, and the only way I could man\u00adage was to crawl on my hands and knees. I was not a pleas\u00adant sight.<\/p>\n
I had not been so shit-faced drunk in many years. I\u2019m not nor\u00admal\u00adly a heavy drinker, and this kind of social\u00adiz\u00ading is not my style. But I sobered up rel\u00ada\u00adtive\u00adly quick\u00adly, the next day. We did a bit more sight-see\u00ading, got tick\u00adets for an evening train to Budapest, and end\u00aded up going back to the hos\u00adtel to relax. We watched an Amer\u00adi\u00adcan teen com\u00ade\u00addy called Kids In Amer\u00adi\u00adca in the hos\u00adtel lounge. The long train ride to Budapest would not involve much sleep. The com\u00adpart\u00adment was full, with some elder\u00adly women who chat\u00adtered in Roman\u00adian pret\u00adty much non-stop. No com\u00adfort\u00adable posi\u00adtion was pos\u00adsi\u00adble. It must have been tor\u00adture for Isaac, who has very long legs.
