Aron Ralston\u2019s book about his expe\u00adri\u00adence is actu\u00adally very well writ\u00adten, and enter\u00adtain\u00ading through\u00adout. He wise\u00adly struc\u00adtures it so that his auto\u00adbi\u00adog\u00adra\u00adphy, chiefly out\u00addoor adven\u00adtures in the moun\u00adtains and deserts of the U.S., alter\u00adnates with the details of his most dra\u00admatic expe\u00adri\u00adence. It took place in the Canyon\u00adlands area made famous in Edward Abbey\u2019s <em>Desert Soli\u00adtaire<\/em>.
