I knew about them. They were in every library, and peo\u00adple I knew had read them. They were high\u00adly thought of. I real\u00adly don\u2019t know why I didn\u2019t check them out.&nbsp;Well, I was def\u00adi\u00adnitely miss\u00ading some\u00adthing. The prose of <em>A Wrin\u00adkle in Time <\/em>is delight\u00adful. The book deals with inter\u00adest\u00ading ideas, pre\u00adsented in a man\u00adner that chil\u00addren can under\u00adstand, but only if they are will\u00ading to stretch their minds a bit. At it was writ\u00adten, none of these ideas were embed\u00added in pop\u00adu\u00adlar cul\u00adture, as they are today. I would rank <em>A Wrin\u00adkle in Time<\/em> with the best Hein\u00adlein juve\u00adniles as books that respect a child\u2019s intel\u00adli\u00adgence and treat the read\u00ader with\u00adout con\u00adde\u00adscen\u00adsion.
